A new mom took her baby daughter to the supermarket for the first time, with
the baby girl dressed in pink from head to toe.  At the grocery store, she
placed her seat in the shopping cart and put her purchases around the seat,
filling the cart around the baby.
 
When she got to the checkout line, there was a small boy and his mom ahead
of her in line.  The little boy was crying and begging his mom for a special
treat.   The new mom listened, thinking the little boy probably wanted some
candy or gum and his mom was refusing.
 
Suddenly, the boy's mom turned and looked at the baby in the grocery cart. 
 
 "No, Tommy!" she said, looking at the new mom and grinning.  "You may not
have a baby sister today. That lady got the last one!"
